SLi Regional Conferences

It would be almost impossible to establish a program like Student Leadership Institute without receiving hands-on training. That is why we have designed a two-day training conference where you will receive extensive training on every component of SLi. Bring your entire leadership team to this exciting workshop where you will hear from SLi founder, Larry Taylor, and other key leaders on how to adopt SLi at your school or church.

Student Leadership Institute hosts 2 day regional conferences in Dallas and Orlando each spring and fall.

The 2008-09 fall and spring conferences are:

FALL 2008 DALLAS (Sept. 29-30, 2008, Prestonwood Christian Academy)
SPRING 2009 ORLANDO (Feb. 9-10, 2009, First Baptist Church of Orlando)
SPRING 2009 DALLAS (Mar. 2-3, 2009, Prestonwood Christian Academy)

At the regional conferences of Student Leadership Institute, headmasters, principals and faculty are trained in the Biblical model and definition of leadership with a core emphasis on three operating principles: service, evangelism and church involvement. Because most students' schedules are full of extracurricular and church activities, conference participants are encouraged examine their individual school schedules to incorporate SLi into the school day.

Larry Taylor and members of the Student Leadership Institute team are available for on site consulting to help schools address their unique scheduling and programming needs. They are able to guide school administrators in implementing SLi and creating the situation where the school day becomes the laboratory for hands-on training for leadership and discipleship.
